Day 10!!!!

Well I finally made it to day 10! I thought I would NEVER get here.  It feels great!!! Its the best feeling in the world right now! Of course it didnt come easy but nothing good ever does right? Its funny cause my daughters love the new me.  You can tell my 10 year old is excited that I am finally back to my old self.  She asked me the other day why I was in such a good mood now and I almost cried.  That literally broke my heart but also reminded me of why I quit in the first place.  I have an appointment with a counselor soon and will continue to see him once every week.  The best part is knowing my anniversary is the 8th and not worrying about going out of town with my husband because I won't know if I will have my med or how will I get my medicine before I go?  Now I can just go, be with him and enjoy our time without it being messed up by some little pill.   It's so weird and great to look at the future and not have to schedule your life around that little blue pill!! Have a great day everybody!! I know I am!!

thats awesome, good job on day 10! I am personally on day 9, i did a slow taper, then cold turkey from 2 pills. the first 5 days were hell, and on the 6th things got a bit better i guess... Hardest part is the mental depression. whats even harder is i lost my girlfriend from my addiction the first day i started cold turkey. needless to say im sad. but the physically wds are subsiding, and i can smile sometimes. so life goes on.

Keep up the good work, and dont ever go back! just stay away from all things pills. plain and simple.
Yes, it is weird living live without relying on pills to get you thru the day. i couldnt travel at all without getting sick, even with pills. bad anxiety and i felt stuck where ever i was...
