Please help

I have been taken pain pills through out my pregancey .... I have quit completely @ 29weeks ... I was only taken two 10 mg pill a day ... I no this was wrong to do and I'm sooo HAPPY I have stopped... I really do feel better, it's amazing the difference u feel.... However I didn't tell my ob doctor about my addiction I felt that I could handle it on my on and thought if I couldn't then that's when I would open up that conversation with him... Luckly I was able to quit no problem no withdraw ... No problems at all..... So I'm just a lil freaked out bc I've read that when I have my baby he will still go through withdraw and he's gonna be taken from me ... I'm so scared its not funny I can't sleep at night.... I cry all the time I'm so worried about it...  I am now 31 weeks and will be induced at 39 weeks ... So my question is are they going to take my baby bc I made a terrible choice during my pregancey ? Will my baby go through withdraw?please answer if u have experienced this of no someone that has or really any type of info... I'm soo scared now this was a horrible choice I have made to do something like this i no... I wish everyday that I didn't make the choices I made .... Please help.. Thanks in advance... I'm also pretty new to this sight so just figuren it out hope I posted it in the right place..?..? Thanks

Hi love, as the others have said, please try not too worry. If you are not feeling withdrawals, the baby should be fine. Just be sure to have your OB check everything out. Let us know how it goes, and congratulations!

Yahoo! We love MH Baby's..Take a deep Breath and Calm down..You and the Baby will be just fine.. (my opinion not a Dr) If you have this much time in and feel good already. You did not take very much as far as mgs in a day. I would for sure tell the Dr what you did..Just to be on the safe side as far as the Babys health.. I feel he/she will calm you down. Just to be honest will take a lot of weight off your shoulders..

Hi there- although it's never recommended to abruptly stop when pregnant...it sounds like you and the baby are fine so far. I don't think the baby will have wd's so please don't worry so much. Just calm down and get ready for this baby!  It's so exciting!

Hi and welcome. Yes, you posted in the correct place. It's kinda late though, and slow on weekends, so keep watch, you'll get lots of responses tomorrow.

One thing I want to ask, did you just recently stop? How long ago? Because the baby feels withdrawals when you do, and it can be dangerous. So if you're going through them now, or just recently, you should call your ob ASAP in the morning.

As far as the rest, others will be along. This topic gets brought up here a lot. Stick close. I'm glad you posted. Congrats on becoming a mommy!
