48 hours in CT

Ok guys.  I am a third timer like it says. I am 48 hours in CT.  I am trying so hard.  My family thinks I am sick.  (I am)  I have three pills an am wondering if I should just taper or hold out.  I know three isn't much to taper with, but I have a 5 yr. old and it is so hard.  I know you know.  I took 7.5 lortab.  And I am truly sick of it.  I do have spine and neck pain, but mentally I am not wanting them... I am just physcially sick.  Should I break them up and take half a day until they are gone or just stick with this.  I am shaking so hard I can't type.  You all are good people.  I hope this is it for me.  I  honestly think I am ready now.   I hate those three little pills in there, but if I use them wisely, would it allow me to function through these first few days...or not?
thanks for the advise.
Me....again.

Look in the health pages on the right side of the page.  There is the Thomas Recipe and the amino acid protocol there.

Ya you do know the "war face" then!!!!   LOL  Get it on and keep going strong!!!!!

Congrats on the 2 days, i agree flush them. You are 1/2 way there taking them is just going to make you feel bad longer and you dont want that. This is hell but soon you will be out of it. Keep up the good work!

You dont have enough pills to make a positive difference / taper at all. Within two days you will be over hump day and on the way back strongly. Stay hydrated, use ensure if you arent eating (I endorse the Amino Protocol...) and use vit and supp's.........Most people indicate that days three and four are the hardest for them. Time to get both tough and strong. Take it in 15 minute slices if you need to. Anyone can make it 15 minutes without a pill........keep extending on that. You can do this and be done for real. You need to do this and get back in touch with family. No magic bullets here.....dump those pills, reach down deep and find your "war face" - - and put it on. You are strong enough to finish this fight and win your life back. Obstacles are what you see when you take your eyes off the goal. Forget the pills......think of your son - he deserves dad back as himslef........its only a couple days being strong, compared to an eternity of real life.  Please make the right choice.

Thank you Sarah, I remembered a year ago.  I was right here.  I can't imagine how much energy this year has gone toward keeping this going.  Itis staggering.  I will get to drinking some fluids.  Iknow I sound like a kid, but do you think maybe after 72 hours it really could be better?  I have only made it that far ( honestly ) once?

Congrats on 2 days!!!!  My advice is to just flush the remaining ones.  Stick with the ct and get it over with.  I know it is hard but the quicker you flush your body out the better.  Keep fighting with everything you have.  Try and get out for a walk if you can, Drink plenty of fluids and take warm baths.  Are you taking any vitamins?  Try drinking Gatorade too.  You can do this and soon you will be feeling better.  Keep posting      sara
