Clonidine question

I am starting wd's again today.  I relapsed twice last week.  2 days clean, 2days taking pills, 2 days clean, 2 days taking pills.  So here goes the clean days again, but for good this time. Im off of work now and can do this.  anyway, i have some clonidine pills.  I was wondering the regimen.  Do you just take them for symptomatic relief?  Some info would be greatly appreciated.

You should take them as prescribed by your doctor..generally .1mg 3x day is what is prescribed. DO NOT EXCEED THE DOCTOR'S INSTRUCTIONS as you could find your blood pressure drops too much and you pass out.  I started taking them the day after I took my last vicodin (120+ days ago) and never took another vicodin.  Clonidine helps immensely with a number of the symptoms.  However, they will make your mouth dry and could make you very lethargic and tired.  after a few weeks, I weened off as per my doctor's instructions.

Please note the dosage is ".1 (POINT 1) mg"

Jim

I highly recommend you consult with your doctor before taking clonidine.
