how to announce my cocaine habit to my wife

Hi, I recently got married and a few months after, i started drinking more often and using coke, my drinking alone  was becoming a problem.  so I admitted myself into a dependency centre for a 7 day program.  I no longer drink but my wife didn't know was also going for help to stop using coke.  I got my discharge and I'm still going to group meetings twice a week but my problem is i started coke again and now i think i should tell her but i don't know how.  Anyone have any ideals?

She deserves to know the truth.  Keeping secrets keeps us sick.  Good for you for  going to treatment.  I suggest looking for a 30 day tx center.  7 days is enough for detox but that's about it.  It is not enough to really help you long term.  Good luck to you I know this is a hard place to be.  God Bless.

Our secrets keep us sick.   Please talk with your wife and tell her everything.  She may be upset and rightfully so but it is very important to do this.  Having the support of our loved ones is very helpful with addiction.  Changing our playmates and playground is also another thing we need to do.  We have to surround ourselves with supportive people.  Let us know how it goes.  You will feel a ton better once you tell her.  We also have a forum for your wife if she would like to check it out.

First, I would make plans to go back for treatment, so you can tell her that you are going to get more help.  The fact that you really want off the coke is good.  Get help, and tell your wife you love her.  Blessings - Blu

Be honest,be tactfull, and if she is holding anything be ready to duck. Lol

You know you have to talk to her about this. Just gotta bite the bullet and hope for the best. Sorry i got no real advice for ya.
