HELP
How difficult will it be to go cold turkey from an approx. 8 - 10 7.5hydrocodone pills a day? I only have 2 1/2 left for tomorrow and them I am out.....I am looking to get clean; however I was hoping to taper off...don't think I will be able to get more in order to do that...I am very scared....please help with any suggestions...thank you.
extremely doable...hunker down and i dont think it will be as bad as ur mind has mustered it up to me...get the supps..use them and stock up now...take a few days of downtime..and stay busy as u can /...exercise each day even if it is only 10 minutes on day 1...good 4 u...dont be scared...the alternative of staying dirty is scary.. getting clean is not scary at all if u put it in the right perspective..be excited as ur life is going to be so much better!

Like skip tomorrow and take nothing. the next day take 1 1/2.
The next day take the last 1.
Or if you think you can keep going just stop.
The first day with nothing is not so bad. It is the 2 and 3 that you will really feel it.
And of course there are the things that help like ammodium and you may need a sleep aid but nothing that you will use every nite. I took valarian root and l-theanie to calm me down and it helped. and there are herbal teas that calm you down too.

You can do it. Valium and Xanax will help alot but you should only use them for a few days so not to get addicted to them. It was always day 4 for me when I began to feel better so just hang on for the ride. It will be over and worth it. GBU,Corey
Thank you soooo much to all of you....this is the first time I have joined something like this...I have tried c/t before and only lasted a few days....does anyone think it will be possible to do this without my family knowing what is going on?? I plan on staying on here as much as I can....I WANT SO BADLY to do it this time...I am sooo sick of myself it is pathetic. Thanks again!!!!! It really does help having people to talk (or type) to...there isn't ONE person in my life that knows about this....it is very lonely!!

You are not alone....Yes those benzo's will help, just only take as needed....Look at the health pages and find some thing that can help you so much....I was on them for 3 yrs at about twice your dose...I did c/t, and a yr clean...SO i know you can do this...If you need a friend, or anything i am here, as well as many great people here!!

Thank you....I have been on them approx. 4 years since having cancer surgery.....will valium and/or xanax help? I don't really like taking those..but if i have to i will.....I am so scared because absolutely NO ONE in my family knows....what a jerk ...huh???
It should be doable cold unless you have been on them for years. Try some imodiam and some mild sleeping pills or other benzos to help. I've done it from doses like that or higher. all the best
