Thanks so far. I will try to get her on as soon as she is up for it. Lots of sweating right now & bathroom running. I will be the middleman for as long as i need to. Thank you all for understanding. She is no stranger to forums. She used to do the master cleans/liver flushes. but now with these damn Roxi's, they have taken her away from being the healthy person she was.
Most people wait until they run out of pills and then HAVE to go ct. I feel sorry for your friend. Can she/he come themselves and post to let us know what is going on first hand? It is hard to talk through a third person. You are sweet to help out but try and convince them to come on.
How about blender shakes, with protein powder, soy milk (easy to digest), throw in plenty of bananas, berries, other fruits she likes ...
Nutritional supplements in pill/capsule form: mutivitamins, maybe a heavy-duty B thing ... there's a "Thomas Recipe" posted here -- it's all anecdotal (not science-based), but it seems to help some people ... soup -- lots of soup in small portions, applesauce, yogourt, maybe that new V-8 (or a generic copy) with vegetable juice masked by fruit juice ...
If the diarrhaea is still going strong, Imodium works, but tends to really plug things up ... have to keep the fluids coming -- dark, brownish urine is a symptom of getting-serious fluid loss.
For sleep, benzos (Valium, Klonopin, etc. are the best in the short run ... melatonin is quite helpful (no pprescription needed), Gravol for nausea (and it makes some people drowsy) -- she'll need a lot of sleep at first, but then the lightest activity is important. Take the exercise slowly.
I'm sure there will be many more responses, but your support is really, really important to get her through this.
Best of luck.
Immodium for the stool. Emetrol for the stomach.A heating pad or blanket for RLS and cramps. Benadryl (diphenhydramine) or melatonin (or both...) for sleep if you have no benzo's. Many warm/hot showers/baths......some use epsom salts in bath and say it helps with RLS. Calcium/magnesium supplements help RLS. You can get protein (soy bean) drinks like ensure - Walgreens store brand is good and more economical. Plenty of banana's - the potassium is good and the fruit is easy on stomach. You should get plenty more advice......look at right hand side of screen toward bottom for Health Pages and find the Amino Acid Protocol and the Thomas Recipe.........read them.......keep posting....
