New post for the posse!!!

Hello fellow warriors! I thought I would post a question so we can all comment how we are doing on this day. It is getting harder to follow everyone's threads without missing one!

Day 8 today and I am changing up how I do things today as the past few days just haven't been my best. Taking all of your advice to implement changes.  Today is a new day :) A sober day:) Another day I have won this battle:)

Nomore and charlie we are truly different people than last week. I was looking back and reading our old posts.

To our new girls- keep up posted on how you are doing constantly! We care and can help get you through this.

"time is a curse" that is where I am today, watching the clock. Back at work, I cannot get motivated. It definitely feels good not relying on a phone call about pills or where the money is going to come from, that is amazing.

Charlie yay!!!!!!!!! Isn't it crazy 10 days ago we ( well I) were hanging on for dear life ?!  I wouldn't have made it without you buddy.  I know deep down this time I am done.  I didn't truly want it the previous attempts.  Man do I want it now !!!  Junip and Jlannspr I hope you girls are getting over that hump!  It is still a little odd not thinking about pills constantly but I have focus on so many more fulfilling things now !! I stay as busy as I can all the time except for sleep.  And it feels so good not to worry about where next round of pills is coming from. Ughhhh that was more emotionally exhausting than staying clean in my opinion!  This battle is worth fighting for. The minute I took those last pills feels like forever ago.  Time is a curse it feels in the beginning but such a blessing later on!

Glad to see your post. 7 days ago, almost to the hour, I put my first post , on here, and within minutes my angels descended from heaven and their own trials to get me through the first week. Honestly saying, I don't think I would be entering Day 10, yes 10!!! in about 6 hrs. God put me on this site and I believe he put our group together to get through the first part. There's still a long way to go, but now able to focus on changing life instead of chasing my pills.  Shout out to Tina6444 ( WILD THING ) and Nomore2. Hope all is well with y'all. Post when you can. Junip, are you still on the beach, and how are you. Good thoughts and prayers each day for all. 4 meetings in first week has really helped on the local level, but this site continues to bless as we go through this journey. Always with love.

WOW!  I havent been around for a couple of weeks cause life happened and had to immerse myself into meetings and get through.  But I just want to say how wonderful it is to see all of you there for one another!!!  When I first came on here in December there was a group of us who did the same thing for each other and it was a Godsend!
Congrats to all of you!  And Junip it so good to see you back up on the horse!  You are awesome!!!
I will say the first month was a daily mental and physical battle and the clock watching was so hard!  But it really does get better!  And I see some of you are going to AA/NA and that is awesome!  I wouldnt have made it this far without the rooms and the steps!!!  But whatever support works for you just DO IT!!!!
Keep on doing what you are doing!
Ill keep on reading your wonderful accomplishments!!!

AMEN Charlie…Well spoken buddy:)  Kait listen to everything this wise man has to say. I remember looking at the clock every 30 minutes AT LEAST the first few days. I could not have stayed afloat without Nomore, Charlie, and the very wise ppl on this forum. Truly they made the difference this time for me.

Hope you are feeling better tomorrow. I know it's coming! Physically I turned a corner yesterday so you are coming right up. My energy levels have been unexpectedly okay as well lately! Now we are all different of course but it should be getting easier. My worst time of day is always 12-2 ish but is getting less intense. Sending love and positive thoughts to you ALL:)

Thanks for your post. Rest of Day 7 turned out better. Well into Day 8 and I haven't thrown anything yet. LOL. Seriously thanks for the info. I know I should expect some rough patches, they just surprised me a little. SO SO
Proud for you.. Keep letting me know how things are. I wouldn't be here without you.
Third NA was smaller and a little different, but still mainly positive. I like what they say. Keep coming back until you Want to come back. It truly is helping along with the 100 miles I think I walked my little dog. She looks tired. But I think she likes me better this way.
First one up in the morning start a new thread. We have two new friends with Kait1223 and jlannspr as well as junip as long as they want to play with us. Love always. Talk to you tomorrow.
