day 4...I think

Not sure if it's officially day 4 or day 5. Can't remember if I took my last pill on Fri or Sat. I don't think it matters cuz I'm still jittery...all night long. I think this is the worst part of going thru w/d for me....not sleeping well. I am a sleep hound. I have to have 7-8 hours of solid sleep to function well the next day. But I am up most of the night twitching and turning, maddening. Wish I had access to valium! It would help alot. Last night I resorted to a couple of shots of brandy to relax the jitters, and that did help for a while, just not long enough.
Anyway, I started a new job yesterday, and for the most part, that kept me busy. Didn't think much about physical stuff and I was exhausted by the time I got home. (Wish that meant I slept well tho). It might be an ok job. At least I have something to do and a paycheck. Hoping for a good day today.

Wow..sounds like you are on a good roll.  I am not working right now and I know I can get through this. I want to get back to work soon and want to be free of all of this.  Good luck to you!!

Glad to hear you made it o.k. on the job!  The sleeplessness/restlessness/anxiety stuff is the worst!  I wish you well, and encourage you to keep that mind as busy as you can.

Wow, you started a new job in the middle of withdrawels? Wow. I can't imagine.  You should be almost over the hump now and should start to feel better each day. Good luck and hang in there. Keep posting.
