Pain meds Watson Norco addicted? help!

Hey guys what do you do when a pill makes you better person in life? It's like that cup of coffee in the morning and it *****, because I feel all down and **** when I don't take it, but once I pop it. ITS ON! life is simple, work is simple, talking to people is simple, doing what needs to get done GETS DONE..I never really abused them like sometimes I break the pill in half, then take the other half later..I've never take 2 pills or more in one day. Just 1 or half.. BUT I wanna quit before it gets out of hand, because I know people that have taken 30 watson pills a day!! that's crazy! But really people help me...Nobody knows about this just me and you All sooo please help...! Thank you

You are only fooling yourself.  Thats how I started just like you after my surgeries.  Next thin you know I was up to 15 a day.  Yea thats crazy.  Keep it up bud and you will be there to my friend.  Stop while you are ahead your gonna wish you did.

That is a lie you tell yourself.  ---  That you become a better you.  I told myself that same lie for 8 years and went from 3 a day to 10-15 a day.  100-150 mg a day when I stopped. There was alot of run out time between script so I got street oxy which is 20-60 $ a pill  You are playing with fire. We all liked them in the beggining. Do you think anyone would stop if it only took 1 pill a day .  I know I wouldnt  Your tolerance will increase as will the lies you tell yourself.

Hi Vinny,

Welcome to the forum.  You are in the right place at the right time.  Consider yourself lucky that you have not really gotten out of hand with your daily dose, most of us go crazy and use 20, 30, and more per day.  You are in the perfect position to quit - with the low dose that you have been on, it should be fairly easy to stop taking them with minimal withdrawal symptoms.  How long have you been taking the Norco?  

The one thing that probably everyone on here will tell you is that your addiction will get worse and you will eventually start taking more because eventually you will get used to the dose and will not feel a thing.  Stop now though while you can because if you get to that point, you will start taking pills just so you won't get sick.  That is a horrible feeling.  

You commented about it "GETS DONE" when you take them and compared the Norco to the morning coffee.  Think back to before you started using - before you thought about it.  How did you get through the day?  How did you feel?  How did things get done - life does exist without drugs.  Keep posting and keep asking questions.  There are lots of great people here who can help you.
