Robbed of meds, what to expect?

My brother came to my home drunk and ask if he could go to the bathroom, no problem, I was busy working on a boat. He was in the house awhile and came out said see ya later and left. He took all my pain medicine and I am now sick. I live alone so he was the one. I am not filing a police report because I don't need the want the hassle that goes with that. He will deny it and make me look like a idiot. Do I call the doctor and ask for more? How long will I be sick? What all do you go through?  Been on them two years, hydro 10mg, Soma, sleeping meds. It's three weeks until refills.

i go to a pain mangement DR. and i had to sign a contract with him to be treated. in my contract it states if something like that would happen i would have to file a police report bewfore he would consider perscribing more meds..it would be hard but u may not have any other choice.. buy them off the street anfd that is risky.. getting busted, ripped offf and so forth

The only chance you hae to get your doctor to refill is to file a police report.  I know that doesn't sound like a great option but other than that you are going to be sick. I call it the flu on steriods with insomnia and restless legs and I had restless arms as well!

I feel like a semi hit me so I must be a addict.  In the Marine's I left money in my foot locker under my clothes. The money was stolen and I was disciplined for it because I left it where someone was tempted to take it. I was taught human nature is to take what you need and if someone makes it available then it is their own fault for leaving it where it can be taken. With my brother I left it where it was available and feel I cannot report it.
I need this withdrawal explained if someone can. Sick doesn't come close to this feeling.

Its hard to tell many addicts have gone to there doctors saying there pills were stolen .However if you have a good relationship with your doctor he may help .He may want you to report it to the police its hard to tell .

honestly i would bust my tail getting more. it was horrible, the money i had to spend...i never told my doctor because i didn't think they would ever believe me. i confronted my brother and he denied it, which just made me sad...its a horrible cycle
