Scared! Vicodin withdrawal symptom ??

Hi,
I've been taking typically one Vicodin pill (10 mg) per day for a year.  Yes, there have been occasions where I took two in a day and then a very rare occasion where I'd take 3 a day, maybe like on a long weekend.

So early September/couple weeks ago I decided to cut back, missed a day here and there of the daily Vicodin.  Also got bronchitis in the midst of this. I started gettIng strange chills and hot flashes that scared me because there eas no fever with it but just assumed it was the bronchitis. Never had that before without a fever.

I don't know if these flashes were because I missed some of the daily pills because I was running low and didn't intend to buy more.

Noticed some strange itching on my neck but no rash.  Then I took my last Vicodin on 9/7/14.  Different brand than normal.  Got more hot flashes later that same day and itchy rash.

Fast forward two days after last Vicodin and now I have this horrible skin burning sensation. Feels like a sunburn but my skin looks perfectly normal,o rash, no redness, nothing.  Skin burning sensation is on my face, neck, chest, arms, random places on legs, palms of hands.  Mouth at time feels numb.  Went to ER, did head CT, blood work, EKG everything normal.

I've had a few days where burning went away (this entire weekend no burning) but then came back this Monday, gone Tuesday and back again Wednesday.

Soooo scared, this just does not seem
Like withdrawal.  Has anyone had symptoms like this or heard of anything like this???  Can't say for sure I've really had other withdrawal symptoms. Other than the hot flashes I first got when I missed a few daily pills, that was before I took the final pill on 9/7/14.

Wondering of something neurological is going on here not related to Vicodin. I'm so freaked out about all this, Ive had zero urge to take any vicodin since this started.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and all your advice and comments are welcome.

Everyone is different and while your symptoms might be different from the unusual withdraw symptoms   They might be right for you. since you have taken this drug for sometime your body could be reacting in its own way .  Tell your dr what's going on if you are taking something for the bronchitis it could be that . Drink lots of water and get plenty of rest

Hi and Welcome-

It's been 11 days so it would be unusual to have this symptom. Did you take an antibiotic to treat the bronchitis?
