I got it! And you are very welcome - but no need to thank me. It's just great to have you here. We need folks like you. :)
ImDone ... Sending a big 'thank you' your way!
soLost your post made me laugh! I appreciate the support..I really value my clean time and plan to keep vigilant in my recovery...and I am so so happy that you've done so awesome and came here today to tell others your stories and successes! Thanks and congrats!
OH Yes the sneezing I did a whole lot of that thought I was gonna blow my head off at times I sneezed so hard sometimes it hurt, it is crazy what the pills do to us 2marro is 60 days for me and I sneeze every once in a while now but now I know its just something that irritated my nose. and not being all messed up from pills. so sneeze away its just your body getten used to being free from all the medication it was on. I hope each day brings you joy and less sneezing each day it does get so much better I look back at my own posts and think god do I remember that and boy I'm a glad its over now. each day is a bright day without using hang in there I had all kinds of crazy withdrawlas. I thought my body had gone totally crazy I had read about withdrawals but I swear I think I came up with some funky ones or I had them all . lol congrats on your clean time keep up the good work
Yes Sunnyside...if I truely were to 'count' my blessings I'd have a lot of them at this point! Not complaining :)
The sneezing is definitely normal and it will run its course in time. I sneezed up to 5 weeks from what I recall. It is definitely normal though. At least you have alot of people Blessing your life in this early stage. Maybe its God helping us in our early stages of recovery. Idk but its normal !
you are too cute. I'm sneezing too, also without the grace I'd like to sneeze with. You are so adorable....lol
your post really made me smile. Hugs Katya
Lol- Nursey...no kids yet but same thing! Genetics I guess. Fun fun!
Well Ms. Bright I didn't know it was even related to W/D this far down the line. I was sneezing like a crazy person in S.F and thought it was just the change in environment. I got back home and it continued. My only problem is after having 3 kids I have to cross my legs two times ;-)
oh man you have SO much more to look forward to besides the sneezing stopping...so much more! i'm excited for you :)
Thanks ImDone!
Well that's good to know that it calmed down for you guys...gives me something to look forward to!
I sneezed a lot too and never had any idea it had anything to do with withdrawals or my habit....seems like I sneezed a lot when I was taking pills too. I would sneeze hard, like five times in a row. I have never had allergies...and didn't give it a lot of thought until several others mentioned it too. No more sneezing here. We know the pills are bad for us....but there is just no telling how they affect every part of our bodies. I am sooo happy to be free of them.
Yes your entire body chemistry is out out of wack from the opiates. Sneezing is just a mild condition from that. It will get better the longer you are off opiates.
Lol! That made me laugh ;)
Oh and I almost forgot... BLESS YOU!! lol
I never found any natural cures for the sneezing. But BOY can I relate! It was so weird, all that sneezing. I think it lasted a few weeks and then it began to calm down a bit. And just blame it on allergies - people are so involved in their own lives these days no one will question your sneezing. :) (you've got a great attitude by the way - that's going to help A LOT!) I admire it.
I know sneezing is a part of wd's. My histamines are all messed up.
Justme...not sure if ppl associate sneezing with wd's. My guess is that the large majority of ppl would associate sneezing with allergies or a cold. Unless its someone who has 'been there.' Maybe they would have the insight to know what's up. Not too sure about that...
Anyway, please advise if you know any natural cures or what have you...thnx!
Yes sneezing is a part of w/d, I sneezed for weeks. Actually the sneezing helped me feel better so go with the flow.
Yes, I sneeze a lot. I wonder if people know that sneezing is a sign of withdrawals? I hope not.
