Ok so I finally got caught. I am scared to death. I called in a prescription yesterday and when I went to pick it up they said it was fraud. This morning I got a call from an investigator asking me to call him back. I am so scared. I have tried to quit and never could and now it's too late. Any advice would be much appreciated!! The prescription was for norco

Just get CLEAN and stop focusing on all of this nonsense being brought on by your mother (YES it is nonsense)  NONE of this will matter after you gain some real clean time behind you.

IB, It was the mom saying that to the two year old. Sad either way. Alla, if your still around, just want to send support and tell you, this will get better. Going to be work and lots of white knuckling it, but being on pills and having to beg borrow and steal to get them is worse than any recovery regimen you will endure. Keep reaching out, we have all been there. Better things are ahead.

What good will come from being at your mothers right now?  Sounds like she is very angry and rightfully so but you need supportive people in your life.  Speaking to your 2 yr old like she did is totally unacceptable.   Even tho they will drop most of the charges you are still left with 2 felonies and those are serious. I hope you realize how important it is to get your life back in order.

A 2 year old said "so you want to go with your drug addict mother". Really? At 2 they don't usually put sentences together that well. At 2 I am very surprised they know what a drug addict is?? That is very strange and very sad.

It's not uncommon to not be able to sleep, coming off of Norco.   I didn't sleep at all for two nights and sporadically after that.

Your mother doesn't hate you.   Yes, it was wrong what she said, but she probably feels at her wits end as well.   If you were taking that many pills....30 to 40 a day....you could not have been coping well enough to take care of your daughter.    I am not trying to be mean, but you need to face this and get your life in order.   You are killing yourself.   Killing yourself.   Like others said, use this as an opportunity to get off these pills and be the kind of person and mother you were meant to be.

Outpatient treatment will work as far as the judge looking more favorably on you but it's vital that you get into some kind of program on that aspect alone, aside from it helping you to get off drugs.
