high blood pressure

Was wondering if anyone has developed high BP since stopping pills? I am over 100 days clean and my BP is still high. I had a baby 3 years ago and she was born 6 Weeks early due to pregnancy induced hypertension. My bp did return to normal after a few months and I never had any issues while on the pills. so just wondering if this is a possible aquired side effect from long term use of pills possibly???

Yup, Yup, I never had high BP in my life till I started to w/d. I wasn't sure if it was the pain that was occurring  from the lack of pain meds or the process itself. I actually had to go to the ER cause I got a headache for 9 days along with the high bp. Went on meds and after 1.5 year clean I am just now doing a trial with my Doc. to see if I can go off bp meds. I'd definatly get it checked out. Many congrats on the 100 days!

I'm having the same problem. My BP is horribly high since stopping. I'm currently on meds to keep it in check though. I've also read that women who had high BP during pregnancies were likely to develop high BP later on. Hope you're seeing a doc about this. Dont let it go untreated :) Good luck!
