Working on Day 5
Well it is 9 hours until I reach day 5. Everyday I feel like I get stronger and everyday the withdrawl symptoms get better. Don't get me wrong I think about how I can get a pill, but whenever it crosses my mind I do something to take my mind off of it. To all of you out there just starting believe me, it gets better with everyday. To all of you that have gone longer than I have, you are my inspiration. Who needs a drug counselor when I can talk to you guys whenever I need to. I love you all for helping me get through this tough battle in my life.

firefaery. i am so proud of you 5 days is huge. anytime you get passed day 3 in book is worth a celebration...on day 3 i thought i was gonna die. girl you have come a long way dont even look back.

Yes day 5 is almost here you are doing so great!!!!! I am so very happy for you. About the vitamins I got me a bottle of Liquid Centrum multivitaman/mineral supplement and I have been taking that every morning mind you it taste like **** but I know I need it. I got it and it was about 5.00 or so maybe you could try that. I am also taking Vit c and Vit B6. I have been eating alot of bannanas too. Maybe if you can run to Walmart and get the centrum I think it is helping me. I know how you feel as far as getting some pills, I think of that RX at the pharmacy and when I first wake up and feeling so bad I think oooh if I had them i would feel so much better but I know that is just a false happiness, I am seriously thinking off getting them and bringing them home and flushing them as just a sorta last show to myself that I am strong enough to beat this! YOU GO GIRL!!!!!
I read your journal and I am not sure where to get the stuff you are talking about in the drink. Could you please give me furthur details? I am willing to try anything because I don't want to be an addict anymore. I am done. No more lieing , stealing, and hiding my addiction.

My fiance and I are coming off methadone...we were @ 110mg. in Aug.'07, tomorrow we will take 11 mg. We are determined and anxious to get our life back! Frame of mind makes a huge difference. We are aware the worst is yet to come but that is ok. We have actually been combatting the wd symptoms pretty successfully thus far....thanks to lots and lots of vitamins and one thing in particular that you should check out. I posted general info in my journal for everyone...a nurse at a detox facility recommended this to us during and after detox. The info explains why and how it works. It has made all the difference for us. Upon taking it the withdrawal symptoms subside within 5 minutes. I know how hard that is to believe...I just want everyone to have some because of how it helps with the mental and physical fatique,
Ok, all of my posts are sounding the same today. Sorry, but I am so thankful for finding that drink that I want to share it with everyone...which means I will be sounding like a broken record. Everyone should be accustomed to that with me by now...I am usually posting all about the natural remedies and vitamins. But it is useful info that we all need and can benefit from.

Thanks for the support this is exactly why I joined this forum. I needed to have people going through the same **** as me and willing to support me.
