on day three with no methadone

The only withdrawals i have is diarrhea, sneezing and a runny nose so far. I feel truly, truly lucky and blessed. It may get worse but for some reason i dont think  so because when I get diarrhea, usaully I am in full blown withdrawal. Everybody is soo different . I was only on methadone for 11 months, and I started at 80mg, i was only at 80mgs for two months, then titrated 3mgs a week. I dont understand it. Maybe it was all the opiate ease pills and the 20 vitamins I have been taking a day,,im sure it helped. I really wanted to thank everybody that has responded to my emails and all of the support and encouragement i recieved. Thanks everybody and I will let you know if it gets worse.

Hi Jenelle, its snowflake, I told you I would update and tell you how I feel today. I feel like my body is missing something, like I am lacking something, but of course that is the methadone, I was really craving opiates yesterday, i still have my bottle, i wont take it, but it gives me comfort for some reason. Everybody, i mean everybody on this site, my doctor, even my nurse said I should wean as low as I can get. Im so proud of myself. I proved everyone wrong and I am WINNING THE BATTLE DAY BY DAY. So there lol  But i feel the best in the mornings, then throughout the day I feel a bit like a zombie, still have the diarrhea and runny nose, but it is manageable. I think all of the vitamins and opiate ease i bought helped a lot. I started taking all the vitamins a week before I quit. Maybe it is easier because I really wanted to stop immedietley, against medical advice. I know I took a chance of getting PAWS, but i dont regret at all what I did and im kinda proud of myself!!!! Its not a cake walk, but its is manageable. Good luck and keep posting, especially when you quit. And remember, everybody is different.

Well i dont feel great or anything, my brain feels dull, and i kinda feel like a zombie at times, the sniffles and diarrhea, but the imodium took that away. It is all pretty manageable. I know this is the worst it will get because I never get the diarrhea unless I am in fullblown withdrawal, ill let you know how I feel tomorrow, but so far it hasnt gotten any worse
