Since you have some other medical issues i would really talk with either your doctor or the pharmacist about what you can and cant take. Better to be safe. sara
Vicodin shouldnt be too Overwhelming to come off. Ive taken Vicodin for a couple years here and there. Months on and off. For me though, ive never really had an addictive nature - but Vicodin only seemed to work on me for the first week or So, then I really couldnt feel the effects enough after that to appreciate the Need for more.
Anti-Depressants probably work quite a bit , atleast for the Depression and Irritability. Im almost positive after 2 weeks you should be feeling back to your old self again. The first couple days maybe even week may be sucky - but I wouldnt think Life altering.
I personally hate the idea of having to mask one addiction with another potential hazard, but I would think a Good stiff Drink or an Excederin PM when you really begin to have a craving, then just go to sleep. But to each thier own, you'll find your way to stop. GL
Thats great you are ready to quit! I remember when I made the decision to quit and I am now 61 days clean. A much better feeling than taking those pills. Immoduim is something I would highly recommend!!! Good luck to you and I wish you the best!!! The withdrawls don't last toooo long!!!
