restless leg syndrome???

can anyone tell me why RLS starts at night when all you want to do is sleep?? i not only get it my legs,i get in in both arms...........it's driving me NUTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is an over the counter medicine you can buy at walmart called restful legs,also I had rls bad and really hot baths helped along with wrapping my legs with ace bandages.Eat alot of bananas too,that really does help.Hang in there it does get better. Peace.

I NEVER had that with my withdrawls, how effin lucky.  That' s like the one thing I haven't had.  But there is something over the counter.....can't think of the name, it'll come to me, I hope.  I wonder how heating pads work on RLS?  I know they totally helped my aches on the legs.....  good luck.  I'll hit you back if it comes to me!
