30 vicodin

I am taking 30 Extra Strength Vicodin a day, where do I begin to start my recovery?  I need help.  I have been consistantly taking these since October 27, 2008.

The worst thing about that drug is the tylenol. They contain 750 mg. of pure liver poisen. It won't be that bad to kick and your liver won't have to do flip flops anymore.

Listen, I was taking more than double what you are and if I can quit, so can you.  It is not impossible.  you will NOT be disappointed!!  One thing that is guaranteed, if you don't quit now, the amount of pills will continue to climb and eventually that won't even satisfy you.  You are wise to come for help.  Listen to those above and do whatever it takes.

You have begun already, by coming here and asking..... Thats great. I will tell you this, stay with this form and everyone here will halp you and guide you. they did me. You could take a couple of weeks and cut back or ct like disfunctional. u r taking more then I ever did I was up to 12 aday maybe a couple more. CT the wd's are about 4 to 5 days of hell. but after the 5th it gets better abd better. Everyone will talk u through it someone is almost always here. read the other posts and u keep posting also. I wish u luck and I am here if u need me.

Hi and welcome.You've already begun to start your recovery.You admitted you have a problem and you need help and you reached out.Thats the first step my friend.Vicodin was once my drug of choice also.You will get plenty of help and support here.Are you wanting to taper or go cold turkey? First thing to do is to make a plan on which way you want to do this.Next step is to start getting some after care in place.This forum is a big part of after care for all of us,but theres something about being physically surrounded by others who know exactly what you are going through too.Have you looked into any meetings in your area.If not I would suggest you do,they really help a lot of us.Keep posting.You're not alone.We're all pulling for you.....Peace...Kim

That is just about what I was taking...I quit CT on Dec 30...It was rough but I am now feeling like a million bucks..Give yourself a couple weeks and just do it.. I am here if you need anything
