ultram addiction help

Could someone tell me where to take my sister for help. She is in crisis mode now ! She falls asleep with cigarettes and is now burning her bedding, clothes, carpet, ......She is so addicted to ultram that she has overdosed on this and other meds to avoid her "back pain". We have taken her to all the local hospitals and they send her home after a few days and she is back to her old tricks. I love her very much and do not want to see her die. Her psyciatric doctor and the local doctors keep prescribing more ultram and she keeps abusing the doses to the system failure level. We live in Norwalk Ohio could someone tell me of a center for addiction the is near here. We are about 65 miles west of Cleveland.

ULTRAM IS VERY ADICCTINGshe is going to need to taper off. She is going to have to want to quit to do so .do not let her go clod trukey you really need to taper this med.

Sorry to hear that . I also am on ultram and found its very good and non addictive. Sounds like your sister maybe facing something more like an addictive personality, or maybe even suicidal. BUT im no doctor. Then again I was a frequent pill user . It didnt matter what it was as long as life was different. Id take till I crashed alot. So maybe your sister has some deep emotional problems and is masking them with a pill . If you took her ultram shed prob find a new pill or more ultram to do the job. She needs to be admitted to a facility that has addiction specialist , and psychiatrist . I live in Cleveland, And also know of a good facility as to what explained . I can only hope you get her there in time. The facility is affiliated through southwest hospital in Berea Ohio . Its Oakview rehabilitation center. They will hold her and if they feel needed get court orders to hold and treat people in your sisters situation , spirilang out of control.They have very good doctors and medical . sorry not familar with your area but maybe start with telling her dr.  then if she changes dr.'s keep telling the new ones. you can get their names off her pill bottles when she is passed out.
