will i every be ready to stop??????

I have been smoking weed since i was 15, i am now 24. I have been taking vicodin for at least 4 years but not fully addicted until the last year and a half. I want to stop!! I want to be a different person!! I have been this person for so long i hae know idea how to become a good person. My fiance does none of the above and he has no idea about the vicodin jut the pot. I can't tell him or my family they will be to dissappointed!! I don't even have my High School diploma! Another thing m fiance doesn't know about!! I have a good job so you all would never know i did all these bad thing's if you were to see me on the streets. Just needed some insight!!

I agree with Sad....you need to tell your fiance. There are several reasons why which she named above. You can do this. As Sad also stated, we can help better if we know the strength and amount of the Vicoden you take. Wishing you all the best.

Welcome to the forum..You will find alot of support here..The first thing you should do is tell someone you trust..(should be your finace)..i understand that he doesn't know but starting out with the lie is no good..not if you want a good marraige..Have you quit smoking pot yet? Have you ever tried quitting taking the vicodin, cold turkey? How much do you take in a day?Sorry ..we just need to know a few details ..You will feel alot better telling your fiance..having someone to help support you through this is important.
I smoked pot a very long time..still do on occasion but it just isn't the same anymore. It's a depressant and really doesn't get you too motivated..You can stop this..A really good step is admiting you need help (especially with the pills)  and your desire to quit..Now..you have to do it..and you can.
