Hi Mary - I hope your day at work went well.
Spending time with your little one will make the time pass a bit more qucikly.. one day I was really withdrawing and cranky and did not know what to do with my son for a whole day - so I took him for a walk then we ran around an empty field and then a park - it felt great to get my body moving and made my son very tired so we took a nice long nap when I got home, then just kept myself busying cleaning, cooking anything to keep yourself from thinking about the pills. Also I enjoyed cranking up some dance music and dancing . my son thought it was funny and again it got me movinf felt great! Hope that helps for your upcoming week! You can do it!
I bet you don't even need that last pill!! Test yourself and see if when you think you need it do you really need to take it? Are you just feeling slightly bad with wd? and if that is the case then that is to be expected. Keep telling yourself that you are not going to die! You are just uncomfortable. You can do this!!!!!!
HI Mary,
Good for you. Keep thinking about your only goal at this point: to not take the pills! Everything else falls in place. Don't be scared, each moment is a chance to get better. That is not scary! Yes the cravings and symptoms are hard, but who do you know wrings their hands and frets about getting the flu? You just do what you have to do, be the Mom your little girl needs in the moment and be aware of what is going on in your head. If it is driving you TO the pills - yell FREEZE and then realize it is addiction talking. You will do great! ~Lindsay
