I am so sorry that you are going through such a hard time.  Anxiety is horrible to live with but you need to know that you can overcome it.

I think the CBT therapy would be great for you.  It has really helped me.  I realized that I can't live in fear of something bad happening all the time because then I miss out on all the wonderful things in life.

I think you should see a therapist to help you get through this.  You can get better you just need some help.

Also, try keeping a journal.  That might really help you get some of your anxious thoughts out.  Try to enjoy your holiday and relax.
Remember to smile.  Things can and will get better.

Good Luck!!!

That is a horrible feeling. Sorry you are experiencing this. Sorry to say, Anxiety is something we will all need to deal with every now and then. i don't know much about hypnosis but I would say it wont work.

I think a better approach is some type of CBT to manange anxiety and the stress that causes it. I dont know if you are aware of this but WE cause the anxiety we feel. WE can control it too.

I have been dealing with anxiety on and off for over 30 years. Dispite this, I have lived a pretty normal life. Right now I am experiencing some pretty bad anxiety myself. It is something that evenually passes with time.

Just curious with this question but you used the word "breakdown" in your openning sentence. Was this temporary and just a panic attack?
