hey lolly, to help your anxiety issue, think of it this way: when you're feeling anxious about something, you're more likely to get stuck in a cycle of thinking "what if...?" thoughts and that feeds the anxiety, creating a positive feedback loop. when you catch yourself thinking like this, you must try to stop yourself and realize that it's illogical to think that way. you're just ASSUMING it's a blood clot in your leg because the pain/discomfort makes you anxious, which leads to you thinking the worst. Also, STOP RESEARCHING SYMPTOMS! It doesn't help and it will just feed your anxiety! Finally, you might want to try the 7/11 breathing technique when you become anxious over your leg hurting; take a breath in for 7 seconds, then exhale for 11 seconds. focus on your breathing and make sure you breathe from the stomach.
So you are saying two more weeks? After the weeks it's been? I have read mixed thing about blood clots..... Some no pain..... And some pain. My discomfort ranges from back hamstring to front knee.... Does anyone have tips on how to calm anxiety? I hate the warm body flashes that make you feel like you r gonna pass out?
The other symptoms you have a more than likely due to anxiety.
I do want to add.... my leg is not red, nor hot nor swollen! Just aches on and off???? AND if this is just a pulled muscle... How long does it take for a pulled muscle to heal?
