i was diagnosed with anxiety and was to scared to take meds. I can say my biggest problem is overthinking. i use to overthink about my health and it ended up with multiple doctor visits and er trips all leaving with a clean bill of health. i now am having obsesive thoughts about something evil happening ever since i saw the movie the devil inside i believe in god and pray i feel like im a good person but just done bad things but who hasnt right? people have done worse than lying and stealing  which i havent done anymore i guess i found it easy since others did it and whatever we all make mistakes and i pray god to forgive me for my bad doings nothing bad has happened yet but im on edge that something will please advice to  help me through this

The Zoloft can take a little while to get in to your system and start working, maybe a week, maybe a month. In the mean time you can take the Xanax as needed. It's fast acting and can usually stop a panic attack pretty fast. You may feel a little nauseous and or dizzy the first couple of days after starting Zoloft but this usually goes away. Your not going to go crazy. I do understand how you feel because I've been there myself and I am not crazy. You just feel like you are because of the anxiety. Think about starting the Zoloft this weekend when you can be at home, just in case you have any nausea or dizziness. You can take the Xanax at any time but it can make you tired so I would'nt drive while taking it because your not used to it.

Your very welcome. I'm praying you feel better soon too. Have you tried the Xanax during very anxious times? Did you start the Zoloft yet?

Try to remember it was just a movie. I do understand how you feel. I had my first panic attack while reading a very scary book and I thought the things were going to happen to me. I had no idea it was a panic attack at the time.
Taking meds can be a scary thing too. I've been on many throughout my life and I've gotten to the point of just taking them and if I were to have a reaction I know I can call my Dr at any time.
What have you been prescribed?
