I can relate to you. i rushed to a hospital when i felt tingling sensation on my left shoulder and pain in my ribcage, my pulse rate raised up to 100 bpm then suddenly I felt dizzy and fainting I thought i was going to pass out maybe due to anxiety. I felt burning sensation on my back up to my head later on i could also feel heat on my chest. then gnawing or burning pain in my stomach. The doctor gave me vertisin for dizziness. and omeprazole for coat acid in my stomac. my ecg was normal but i was still advised to visit a cardiologist so I consulted one the next day. While i was going to the cardio doctor, I felt dizzy once again. The doctor prescribed zantac and pariet to be taken for fifteen days but he told me that I would get better in a week. Since my stomach aches usually 1 to 2 hours after eating, he asked me to undergo whole abdominal ultrasound and the result was normal. Ive been taking meds for 16 days now but i haven't felt well. There are episodes of palpitations, reflux, passing of bad gas frequently, too much belching but sometimes i cant, fainting, burning sensation in my stomach 1 to 2hours after eating. sometimes, I cant help but feel anxious. i feel pounding of my heart much more now without any other symptoms and that bothers me the most. I dont know if it is still related to anxiety.
the doc and his nurse said they arent concerned with me having slightly elevated liver enzymes. So I guess there is nothing else they are worried about cause they said my labs were good, choloesterol and all. I just still have days where I feel strange or not right! I just hate to keep calling the doc and go there and feel like an idiot cause they dont finda anything wrong. I have some good and some bad days, never know till I wake up in the morning.
Would it be possible to call your doctor and ask if the elevated levels would be causing the strange things you are feeling? Or if he/she feels that there is anything to be concerned over?
Several years ago my kidney test came back a little off and the nurse told me to follow up with my doctor about it. I became so panicked over it I couldn't leave the house let alone go to the doctor. I ended up calling the doctor and asking if this was something I should be concerned about and he told me that he didn't see anything, including the kidney test, in any of my blood work that was cause for any concern. My anxiety was immediately reduced and I haven't worried over it since.
I know how my mind can run away with me and getting that kind of information usually causes me to lose it and think the absolute worst. Then I begin to "create" symptoms and worry over those. Let me know how you are doing.
I am on a low dose of lisinopril for blood pressure but they gav me mess for anxiety but I'm afraid to take them
1st of all, that's great you keep getting a clean bill of health! =) hepatitis came back negative, thats awesome. =)
elevated liver enzymes is very common, and most of the time don't represent anything wrong with your liver.
Simple things like being a little over weight can cause a little spike in liver enzymes, or consuming some alcohol the night before. etc. etc.
Are you on any medications? A lot of medications are filtered through the liver.
You are fine though. =) Otherwise your Dr's would have shown more concern, but they didnt.
