And another thing: YES, you ARE OK.
-S
YES to both. They might have (I doubt it, but its possible) "missed" something, and "yes," yout are worrying yourself to death.
But lets get down to brass tacks, here. The Paxil may be just fine -I don't know- but I'm concerned that something coming from your head isn't being addressed by a "head" doctor -a psychiatrist. If what you "have" is just a tempoary, here and gone kind of thing, then probably the med will help with symtoms. But it won't help with CAUSES, and I'll just BET you wonder WHY you had an "anxiety attack." At the very least, I would get a consult with a shrink, to evaluate whether the Paxil is really the right thing, and to consider whether a brief course of therapy may be helpful. Ask your doc for the referral -and go check it out.
And BY THE WAY, I see that you haven't filled in any profile infomration about yourself. We're not a bad class of folks here on the anxiety forum, so paint the picture for us -then we can visualize you a little better. And snoop around -you'll find others whose questions are very much like yours. Believe it or not, you will be a help to each other.
OK?
