Help. im paranoid

Quick.. I suffer from anxiety. . I been able to control it. I have recently gotten a UTI (urine tract infection) and I believed it went to my kidneys so I have kidney infection too. I was feeling pain on my kidneys under my ribs. So went to the doc she prescribed me 21 days of antibiotics. . Im on my 14 days. My kidney pain went away. So im guessing a good sign. But I have this problem. well about two days ago I notice I haven't been able to urine well. Every time I go to the restroom I pee very little. . And so i went to Google to find information and woahhhhhh.. paranoid. . Im scared don't know what's going on. I'm scared ending up n In the hospital.. my anxiety is kicking in really bad.. I can't sleep.  Help people. I'm confused. Anybody know about a experience like mine?

Write back if you have any more concerns later. The labwork will probably come back in a day or 2 if you have an issue with the prescription. Stay in touch with your doc if any symptoms persist.

Thank you.. I went to the doctors today. And I still have the infection. But I need to drink more water. And continue my antibiotics.  But she did a urine sample to send it out to the lab to see if my antibiotics are resistant to the bacteria. . So pretty much that my update. Hopefully this uti can be cure and no further complications. And ur right google can be good for somethings but men. Google can really mess us up in the head.  Thank u guys. I really appreciate. . And my anxieties I just need to relax and trust god.

If you are wondering if you can die from something and google it then likely you will find some reason to think you are dying. Stay away from google if you are an anxious person. The pain went away you say, so I bet the small amount of peeing you are experiencing is just you over-analyzing your body and forcing a tiny pee out as often as you can to see if you can do a big one. Probably you are just doing too much over-analyzing while looking hard for a problem.
I would finish the medication and if there is no pain then likely you are done with the problem - alternatively you can go back to doc after finishing the medication, if you are still convinced a problem exists.

Be careful about Googleing your symptoms. In my experience with it, you can arrive at any diganosis no matter how far from the truth.  Since you are on medication and you are experiencing this, why not talk with your doctor about it?  Have you been drinking enough fluids?  Anxiety can definitely exacerbate any situation especially when we are sick in my experience with it.

Could be anxiety itself. I know when I've had a similar situation that I would go to the toilet quite a lot but not pee that much at all.

Anxiety does strange things to the body, especially when focusing on one area. You notice things you normally wouldn't
