It's unlikely that the Doctors/Consultants have missede something. Anxiety can cause almost anything, On this site you can soon notice that. If it becomes extreme it needs qualified treatment ~ the sooner the better. Avoid further suffering by getting checked out for your anxiety. Nothing to fear about doing that ~ no one can cope with extreme anxiety without help.

Chest pain and heart palps are amongst the most common symptoms of anxiety.  Perhaps because the heart is so dependant on our nervous system for proper operation and the slightest little change in it will be reflected here quickly. We all tend to think of 'anxiety' as those times when we were nervous like giving a speach, going on a first date, normal anxiety everyone goes thru in life, that goes away when the event is over.  But this is different and and can't be looked at the same way.  Like getting a cold, it'll usually go away on it's own if we are healthy but for some who are more susceptible it can easily slide downhill into pneumonia and other complications.  Anxiety disorder can be looked at in the same way.
