chickened out

I was kinda eager to get out of the house and was supposed to go hang out with some friends last night. But i chickened out and decided not to go. I kept thinking something was going to happen or i was going to get sick. i hate feeling like this, when will it ever stop so that i can get back to enjoying life like I used to? I am starting to think it never will.

You have agoraphobia, u get scared getting outside ur house u feel that ur house is your safe zone.. You know sometimes i get that, my friends invite me places and i try to avoid them always putting excuses, i hate that fact i can't enjoy my life always think something bad is going to happen or something embarrassing.. I know weird.. But it happens.. Im scared of getting a panic attack too.. I been trying to fight this feeling by taking risk n chances.. Even tho i dont want to be out i still go out just to fight my fear.. The more u avoid places the worst u will get.. So my advice to you.. Take those risk.. N fight it like a champ. Avoid ur fears and anxiety. Breath.. Dont let this pull you down.. Be strong... Trust me.. Thats how i challenge my self now i feel better.. Yea sometimes i get fear but i just avoid it n continue my plans..

You know its weird because if i am just making a trip to the grocery store orsomething, i am ok. If it takes me more than 20 minutes or so to get to where i wanna go, i panic. But i had gotten a job that was an hour away, and i had to drive at night, i was ok doing that. i don't know, but it seems like if i have to go a far distance at night its worse. I am trying not to let it keep me down, but its hard. Thanks Nirvana1234.
