Can chest disconfort be a symptom of anxiety

recently ive been told i have anxiety problems and well often i get this chest disconfort its not like terrible but a couple of times when i went for a walk i got a  wierd feeling in my chest and had shortness of breath my doctor gave me anxiety pills i havent taken any yet cuz apparently it may cause me to have suicidal thoughts :/

i would say its not at your age and i would say its anxiety, these days young people live way to fast and have a lot going, try to slow down see if that helps.

Umm no I havent seen a cardio dr however I use to have great cardio im not sure if u know what the beep test is but I got a 10 the top of the class but, I sure hope its not a heart codition thanks for the reply

p.s just saw your age and chances of it being your heart are slim but still get it checked

first have you been to a cardio dr and had any test ran to check out your heart.

if its anxiety yes it can cause your chest to feel many different ways and yes it can cause you to be short of breath to, anxiety can make you feel like your dieing and its just no fun, but always check out whats going on before you put it to anxiety
