DITTO to the above.

Would it make you feel better if I said...."Why yes, base....you really DO have ALS!!!!!"??

Of COURSE not!  Would you RATHER have a terminal/debilitating disease over an anxiety disorder?  Heck..I don't much care for the Anxiety myself...but I'll take it any day over the other much more scary stuff!!!!!

Quit looking for a tragic illness...you've been cleared by medical doctors more times than most people.  Either accept what they tell you, that it is anxiety...and deal with it....or keep torturing yourself...which is what this is boiling down to.

Do you have a support system?  What do your loved ones say?  Are they encouraging the anxiety Rx?  Or feeding this search for an illness?

MANY people have asked you MANY times if you are still on meds for the anxiety...or still seeing a therapist...and yet you never answer.  You simply diasappear for a while, and then come back with the next thread....the same symptoms....and the disease du jour you are convinced you have.  I wish you could see that.

People here would help you thru the anxiety.  We cannot diagnose you with a medical illness.  If you are convinced the problems are not anxiety despite tons of us telling you we've experienced the exact same symptoms...then by all means...seek help from a specialist...but at some point....at 19 yrs of age...you are going to have to accept what the docs are telling you....

I know this may sound harsh....and it prolly is...but it becomes VERY frustrating to watch you be soooo resistant to the obvious....and basically refuse to discuss anything anxiety-related in this forum...which is the "Anxiety Forum".

I hope you get the help you so desperately need.  You are just wasting time obsessing about these things and it is truly very sad.

I just want to echo Kristine's comments.  We can all give you advice, but it is YOU that has to confront this.  Trust me on this...so many of us have been through EXACTLY what you are going through and know how frightening and demoralizing this is.  But you need to continue to seek help and fight the good fight!  Keep us posted!

I have read alot of your threads, what I don't understand is what you are doing for yourself to try and fix this? It seems that everyone gives you great advice, and we are all here to support you, but it doesn't seem like you are doing anything to help yourself. You need to be involved in talk therapy, you need to see a Dr and insist on the testing that you need, if you think you have ALS than tell your doctor to test you for it, be insistant. Otherwise, it seems all you do is sit and dwell on these issues you are having, if you continue to obsess about your anxiety, and it is anxiety as far as I can tell, you aren't going to get better. Get out there, and fight this! The best thing you can do for anxiety as far as I am concerned, is take it head on. Are you continuing your meds? Are you continuing to see your Dr? Have you reached out to a psychiatrist? These are things you need to do. Otherwise, this is never going to go away for you. It seems you have a lot of things in your life to be happy about and look forward too, don't get bogged down the way you are, get out there and do something about this!

Take Care,
Kristine

Have you seen a doctor for this? This may not help you...but the best advice I can give you is don't try to self-diagnose, especially just by searching the Internet. I think it's even worse for those of us that suffer from anxiety......I could probably research almost any affliction out there and if I tried I could probably convince myself I have those symptoms. There are probably hundreds of different things that can cause twitching...and most of them are not serious.
Make an appointment with your doctor....that will be the best way to put your mind at ease.
Hang in there and keep us posted.

Namaste,

This is beyond my abilities to even venture a guess.

You should have seen a healthcare provider long before this.

So, if you don't have a doctors' appointment, make one for the earliest possible date.

Make.
