OB wants to give me wellbutrtin

I called the nurse told her I was having lots of anxiety and she says have you tried wellbtritin or zoloft.  Zoloft didn't work for me early in the pergnacy and it made things worse.  I thought wellbutrtin was for depression??  Will this help.  I am 31 weeks perggo

This should be done through a psychiatrist. Wellbutrin is a stimulating antidepressant, and so might even make anxiety worse if that's your main problem.

hey kris. i myself used zoloft and it made me worse as well.
then my doctor gave me wellbutrin...but i couldnt afford it as i dont have insurance or anything. so hopefully you have some sort of help. my script would have been $90. But yes it is for anxiety as well. most anti-depressants treat anxiety as well as depression and other things. Good luck with it. I am still untreated as i am allergic to most of the meds they have given me.
