Since you do NOT have ALS but are, for some reason, "super anxious" that you will get it, this fear is triggering your anxiety. I would also guess that you've been Googling symptoms for ALS which is only exacerbating your anxiety.
Try to relax until you see your doctor in August, which I know will not be easy, but it appears you don't have much choice. Is there no other doctor you could see sooner?
You could still go to the ALS Forum and discuss your concerns with people who really DO have ALS. I bet they would be able to reassure you.

You haven't explained why you think you have ALS, so perhaps you can do that when you go on the ALS forum. BUt before you go there, you should get a friend to examine your back but don't tell them which side you think has less muscle, so if they can't find anything different on one side or the other or especially if they think your left side has more muscle then you can rest easy since your doc will likely say the same thing..
When you posted on July 6 about your fear of going outdoors because you think you are ugly, you mentioned you are on meds. What kind, how much and how long? Has your doctor given you a diagnosis other than anxiety, and have you ever tried therapy?
You also might explain what you mean by a lack of muscle.  Are you saying you think the muscle that should be there has magically disappeared, or are you saying you feel weak there?  Do you exercise at all?  Judging by what you've been posting, you need to see a therapist a lot more than you need to go on an ALS forum.  That's a pretty rare disease.  You don't describe anything resembling it.  You're driving yourself more and more into isolation and unhappiness.  You need a professional to talk to, badly.
paxiled yes he self diagnosed a small muscle which is why I told him to get another person to see if this even exists first.

I'm sorry that you have ALS. I believe you would find more information and support on our ALS Forum. The folks over there also understand anxiety and can help you with all your questions and concerns.
