Have I been red flagged?

What can I do if I have been red flagged?
I have been going to the same psychiatrist for over 5 years and have been recently given Concerta about 4 months ago. My original diagnosis was depression/anxiety disorder and he believes I have a learning disability. During this time, the Concerta dose moved up 3 times and was given a new script. Some of these scripts were turned in during the same month. The doctor added on ritalin on a separate script one month. I have turned in these prescriptions mostly to the same pharmacy, but when at Walmart I have turned them in there. When turning in my last prescription, the pharmacist stated she would not fill out the script because I have gone to Walmart and my prescription has been given to me too early. She gave me my script back, and it's still in my wallet. I've in the past turned in the script early and they told me what day I can pick it up. So, I'm thinking I've been red flagged. I've talked to the doc staff about the incident, and they plan on talking to the pharmacy.  Any advice?

Thanks, this is all new to me. I've always just dropped of the script and the pharm would tell me when I could pick it up, no matter which pharmacy it was. Of course my anxiety went up after thinking, "why didn't they just hold on to the script and tell me when I could pick it up?" Now I have a script, with writing on it, and that can't look good.  I told the staff at the doc how I still have the script. Part of me thinks it would be better if the meds were just ritalin and take x dose 2-3x a day. ack

Well, at this point it's in your doctor's hands; I'm sure they'll get this straightened out for you very soon.  From my experience, this can happen from time to time, especially if you are going to a pharmacy outside of your doctor's facility...
Concerta is a 'controlled substance' and considered very habit forming, because of this the pharmacists must closely watch for early refills and patients receiving multiple prescriptions ~ they're obligated to do so, it's nothing personal.  I'm assuming that this is why she gave you your script back.
The state I live in, does not allow refills on Concerta, so every 2 months I have to go pick up a new script ( hard copy) from my sons doctor for his Concerta ~ it varies from state to state regarding refills.  It's kind of a drag to deal with, but that's how it goes with Concerta...

Good Luck
