Homeopathy isn't usually a quick solution, since you go back through stages of healing how you got to where you are. What I can tell you is that right now you're just treating symptoms, with some success, but it will take constitutional remedies for true healing to occur, and homeopathy is very hit or miss. There are also different opinions on how to dose with homeopathy. Classical homeopaths believe in trying one remedy at a time; others do believe in formulas. I guess if it were me, I'd find out just how much this person you're seeing really knows about homeopathy, and if it just sounds like he or she is a dabbler, find a homeopathic physician. They'll have much more experience with that one modality. Naturopaths know some about homeopathy, but usually combine that with herbal remedies, diet, and nutritional supplements. The approach is up to you. Good luck.
Thanks for the answer. Ok now my doctor is more like an alternative psychotherapyst and he gave me both remedies at 30c so they're normal remedies. I have problems with my stomach, that's why I got nux vomica, I have lot's of nausea at times and it's been helping but when I get panicky not even that will help me, the nausea get's beyond it. I've read about natrum and it really fits my description, almost perfectly and the doctor said that If I had some sort of crisis I started taking natrum like every 15 or 20 minutes for an hour which has somehow helped but I don't know, I still feel like these thoughts are not going away and after feeling symptoms of anxiety I feel really depressed afterwards, like crying. I've been on those remedies for about week and a half and I saw some good results the first few days but then the weekend came and I went like 10 steps down the ladder, do you think I should talk to him about changing the remedy? or maybe try a compound one? I really wanna get better soon since I'm already missing school out...
Not sure what you're trying to treat here. Neither of those is a classic remedy for anxiety, though nat mur is used when depression or anxiety is a result of some specific trauma, which is unusual in most anxiety sufferers -- ours just comes from nowhere. Are you seeing a homeopathic physician? Because if you are, just do what he says, he will change remedies as you go through the healing period. But there are no guarantees it will work. Homeopathy is generally trial and error. It is correct that taking a remedy more frequently during periods of crisis is called for, though usually it's every hour in such case. The other question is, what doses is he using? Constitutional remedies or just normal remedies? You can tell by the dilution -- if it's something like 200C or 1M, it's a constitutional remedy, which is probably more called for to deal with chronic anxiety. If it's more like 6C or 6X or 30C or 30X, that's a dosage for an immediate event, not a dosage for permanent healing. As for nux vomica, that's usually used for stomach problems. But you never know, it all depends on a whole list of factors you present. You might want to read a book on homeopathy if you haven't already so you an follow along with what he's trying.
