Is this symptoms of anxiety or stress?

I am a 24 year old female. I am 5'7 and about 160 lbs and have always been healthy. I have no major medical problems, I eat right, and I exercise. For about 3 months, I have been experiencing chest tightness especially at night. It is worst around 2-4 in the morning. My chest feels tight on the left side. When I put my hand on top of it and apply a little pressure, it feels better. As soon as I take my hand off, it goes back to feeling tight. I am a little freaked out because, of course, when I put my hand on top of the area, I can feel my heart beat so I know it's really close or right on top of my heart.
I do consider myself to worry more than most people. Sometimes I worry so much, my stomach hurts. I have been under more stress than usual for a while. I had chest tightness once before I got married. When I went to the doctor, he told me I was just nervous about the wedding, and it would go away after the wedding. He was right. However, I remember that chest tightness being in the center of my chest, not on the left side. Do you think this is a heart related condition or just stress? Thanks!

I know you went to the doctor before for it, but i would go again. It never hurts to be safe! My anxiety hits me int he middle of my chest about 3-4 inches below my collar bone. Anything i've ever felt on the left side has been trapped air and hasn't been able to be helped by putting pressure on it. It could be a lung or heart issue, or a muscle issue. Definitely head back to your doctor! Keep us posted ok!

Stress and anxiety can cause all sorts of physical symptoms.  You did the right thing about going to see the doctor in my opinion.  Your doctor said not to worry and I am sure he/she weighed your medical history and what you are going through right now.   Have you ever considered trying to confront what is causing your stress?  If it is causing you problems, why not seek help for it?  Keep us posted!
