I agree with alvaa. Anxiety can wreck havoc on our cardiovascular system. And cardio symptoms will increase our anxiety and our anxiety will increase cardiac symptoms........so you see the merry-go-round you're on.
When you say the doctor did such and such a test, was that doctor a cardiologist?
Even with excellent BP and good PO, anxiety can create symptoms of SOB and not being able to fill our lungs completely.
I think you had a heart scare, you had it checked and your heart is in excellent shape, but the experience has left you with heart anxiety, which is very common.
Before it really gets a hold on you, I suggest you speak with your doctor about your anxiety and discuss the possibility of a consult with a cardiologist. If you feel there is something going on that is not normal for you, don't let them simply dismiss you with a dx of anxiety. It is your right to request a second opinion.
If after all that, you are still having anxiety, I think it's time to consider therapy to help you deal with your fears, your anxiety.
Let us know how you're doing, OK? You might want to go over to the Heart Rhythm Forum and talk with the folks there. They are wonderful and I can't tell you how helpful and supportive they were for me this summer when I had two cardiac stents put in.
I couldn't have done it without them.
Lot's of food for thought.
Be strong, be proactive. Get your life back.
Peace

Yes, anxiety can very much cause chest pains. Everytime I have one I feel like I am having a heart attack.
