The above is correct. If you know where to find lymph nodes you can feel them at almost anytime. I have 3 in my neck area that I can feel anytime. How do I know this? About 3 years ago now I felt them and had a major freak out. Went to my doctor 4 times in about a month. She finally convinced me they were fine. I also had another doctor feel them. He said they're tiny and normal to be there. I was in your shoes about 3 years ago, I know how you feel. What you describe seems like a normal size one to me, however, I'm not a doctor. The blood work is actually a great indicator you are fine. My wife's grandpa (when diagnosed was lymphoma) white blood cell count was VERY high. Everybody is different though. What I'm trying to get at is I believe you are fine. I also have health anxiety and I know how it feels but being able to look at your situation from the outside and being in your situation a few years back I just believe you're ok. If it really does bug you a lot have a doctor feel it.
Thank you for your kind words. My fiancé is so distressed because he doesn't understand why I can't just stop touching it and leave it to resolve itself. He doesn't know what else to do since I've had a full physical and blood work. He believes I'm fine. Health anxiety is the worst. :/ do you sometimes feel yours?
swollen lymph nodes can happen when you simply bite your lip-I know from experience. It is easy to freak out none the less because any bump or lump immediately sends you in a cancer panic. Actually at any given time you can almost certainly feel lymph nodes through out your body if you know where to look. Give it two weeks and if it hasn't changed (and you haven't ended up with a cold etc) then get it checked out. Until then know your body is responding in the perfect healthy way <3
