How DID that happen anyway?
Anyway, I think the time for more aggreesive therapy has arrived. If the therapist is NOT a shrink, then get a psyhciatrist who can handle the meds AND the talk. Yes, there can be a reaction to ther drugs, but hard to say what it is from here; that's another reason for a psychiatrist. Yes, yes, it may take some money -but guess what, you get to have your mom back -and so does she. Consider it.
I've redacted the above stange message to tease out the actual message and leave behind the alphabeticallist of medical terms in which it was embedded. I have no clue as to how or why that happened. Here what the message really is (I'm pretty sure);
Over the past three years, my mom gets up in the morning and uncontrollably shakes, thinks her heart is racing, and can't get herself under control from this until 11:30 am. She listens to her relaxation tape and sits in bed until 11:30 when everything suddenly stops. This first started three years ago, when she was let go due to poor work performance at her job. She becomes very anxious in the morning and we as a family
are mystified. She has been seeing a therapist for three years with little or no progress. She takes Zoloft and other anti-depressants Her medication administration has been altered a lot and decreased due to her condition. Can she have a reaction to the medications administration that she is taking? I will try and find out all the medications she is taking. She rarely talks in therapy and keeps everything to herself. She has been tested by various doctors with a Cat scan, MRI Abdominal, Spine mri, and other tests which have found nothing. We are really annoyed and mystified at why this is happening and would like some help so she can have mornings where she does not feel anxious. She has not worked in years and rarely has any motivation to do anything.
Have you had your mom talk to a therapist about her anxieties and concerns. For me, dealing with issues such as health anxiety and talking it through with a mental health care professional does wonders in getting one through troubled times. Just be patient, which I know is easier said then done, and get her help. By learning about this pattern of thinking you can be amazed how someone can recover from this.
