It takes time a practice to handle disagreements without feeling overly emotional. I have this problem too. For me, discovering what my boundaries are and then constantly practicing enforcing them in the most effective but kind way works. I still can't handle situtaions well sometimes, but when I know I'm going to lose it, I walk away or don't answer the phone for awhile. Give myself a cool down period, sometimes that cooling down period can be a few days even.

This isnt normal fear tho. i get so nervous my heart pounds. i shake. feel like im going into panick. wont even hardly look at people in public for fear theyl start a fight
It's only human to be afraid of a fight or disagreement. No problem there.
