Numbness in Head

Does anyone get a funny feeling in there head sometimes that feels like when you get the chills.  I think its either from the xanax for maybe anxiety or panic trying to come thru.  It does not happen often.  My friend said she takes zoloft and gets its sometimes too.  It bothers me because I don't know if its normal from the xanax or from feeling chilled sometimes.

Have you been to a neuroolgist for a checkup? Might be good to go for a checkup just to make sure nothing serious could be wrong. Hope everything is well.

I get this after panic attacks. My dr says its from the adrenaline rush you have during a panic attack or anxiety episode. Hope it helps.

you should ask your psychiatrist to switch meds if you have chills inside your head. i've been having chills up my back lately. my psychiatrist allowed me to reduce dosage from 20 mg geodon (ziprasidone) and 4 mg perphenazine to zero milligrams geodon and 4 mg perphenazine. i took zero mg geodon and 4 mg perphenazine for just one day and have terrible chills up my back. so i went back to taking the same dosage and still have chills up my back (for 2 weeks now - and just when i need him my psychiatrist is sick so he called off our appointment) anyway wheniwas hospitalized for paranoia (which is what my meds are for) i was given some med that gave me a really bad trip, with colors and lights and pain in my head. so i requested them not to give me that med again. i dont suffer from paranoiaanymore btw. but i just cant stand meds giving me chills just up my back. if i were having chills inside my skull i'd be in a much worse hell. please do yourself a favor and switch your med. that sounds very bad, chills in your head. thats just not cool. quit that med and dont make yourself suffer needlessly.
