Well, judging from your other question on the forum, my guess is that you're eating for comfort. We all do it-- we do it when we're bored, lonely, emotional.. food is just something we associate with comfort. What did our moms do when we were upset as babies? They fed us! Why do we crave sugar when we're sad? Because it releases those feel-good hormones. It's only a bad thing when this passion for food gets out of control. Eat when you're hungry and you'll never have to worry. Find something else to do that makes you feel just as good.
:-)
You are an emotional eater. We all have "comfort foods" but to constantly eat to feel better is only suppressiong a problem. You'd be much better off to get into therapy and find out what is going on inside that you need to do this. Many obese people have unresolved issues, and food conforts them but leads to a lot of health problems. Fortunately you have chosen a better way to "self-medicate" than turning to alcohol or drugs, but it will become a problem. Seek help to determine what you're trying to forget, or don't want to deal with, most of us have had to do this and it's okay! Your body is trying to tell you something, find out what that is. Take care.
