What are the withdrawal symptoms with paxil?

I have been on it 14 years, I know what I feel like if I miss a dose even by a couple hours. My doctors have told me it will be life long as they dont feel I can handle the withdrawal. I hate it with a passion and would love to get off it. But cannot find a doctor etc willing to help. I even admitted myself to a Centre for Addiction and Mental Health with high hopes of them helping me get off it and instead they wanted to increase my dosage.
Never attempt to come off without full doctors guidance.

Nobody can predict this for any individual.  You can get withdrawal from many medications.  It depends on the person, how old you are, how long you've been on it, and even then some people get none and some get a lot.  Just make sure you do it with a very knowledgeable psychiatrist who knows how to taper one off these meds and how to control withdrawals when that needs to be done.  Most psychiatrists, and few primary care docs, do know or care about this, so find out ahead of time.
