first panic attack in 3 weeks

hey everyone, so the past 3 weeks i thought i was getting so much better, i thought i was beating the anxiety as i felt it was slowly slipping away, i was dealing with some minor depression but it was manageable, however today i was home studying for an exam and in my apartment building the central heating makes this really low grumbling kina vibration noise throughout the building, it has always annoyed me but never really bothered me to that extent, however today it started up and i had an immediate panic attack, like full blown what i used to get, im so upset and discouraged....i thought i beat it but i guess not, do you think this could have been a trigger? sigh

First of all, measure your progress by all the days you've gone without a panic attack,  not by the one that hits in the middle of your progress!  It may have been that the noise startled you and set off a panic attack, or it may have been coincidental.  But you are doing sooo good, and you will have setbacks from time to time, but you are still making great progress!!!!  Don't get discouraged, this all takes time.  You're being too hard on yourself, and this you don't need.  Stay positive and continue to move forward.  Don't get down on yourself, instead just think "hey, it's been a long time since this happened, I've really made progress here!  Count the good days, not the bad.  Take care!
