Thank you so much man I just didn't know that was good or not and yes I used to be really Afraid to workout but I've been getting back into things
Hey man 108/66 is fantastic Blood pressure, the lower the better, as long as it's not extremely low...even 125/78 is very good. Naturally when you exercise, your blood pressure will go up some. I have really bad "workout anxiety" and I freak about about my heart for no reason, like I know my heart is supposed to beat fast after a run but my mind still freaks out anyway. I have kinda high blood pressure during my anxiety attacks, after a workout for me my blood pressure will sometimes go up to 155/94 is the highest I've seen mine go, and usually at rest mine is around 117/75.
Hey Chris
I get bad anxiety too, usually only after 7:30 pm. During the day I'm always fine. Strange but true. I discovered EFT (tapping) and now instead of running for an Ativan, I tap and within 10-20 minutes I'm calm. There are some wonderful You Tube videos on tapping. It's worth a try. I am not suggesting that anyone reading this discontinues their prescribed meds, but tapping is a good way to control an anxiety attack before it had a chance to control you. When I was told about it by a Reiki Master I was extremely sceptical, but she talked me into trying it. She taught me the EFT technique and I use it at least 3 times a week with success. I love it. It's fast, effective and costs me nothing!
I'm reading that you have thoroughly checked out your heart and am glad to hear it is healthy! I would give your blood pressure monitor to a family member or friend to hold onto for you. Checking all the time is going to increase your anxiety. Speaking of anxiety-- as I see you have worked with doctors on making sure your heart is healthy---- have you worked with them on your anxiety? I am sure others have told you this but you will never feel good about your heart heath unless you do that as your concerns are anxiety driven. If you work on the anxiety, you will feel better.
