Okay, let's grade this on a curve to try and get Pax's score up! LOL  Seriously, I think it's the types of stress and anxiety you're going thru that they grade on.  I know certain "stressors" are harder on the heart etc. I really don't know, I'm obviously too stressed to think straight!  I do hope you don't have to have the knee surgery.

Yeah, as one of the most anxious people on here, facing possible knee surgery, and my brain's ability to cope with anything pretty much gone for four years now since my wonderful Paxil experience, I scored 53.  Yeah, that's right, 53.  Anybody want to raise a question now about the validity of any of these tests?

Mine was only 116, so how come I'm the one having two heart stents put in? Maybe it has something to do with how we handle the stress? I know I get a D- in that!

You'll be there one day...hopefully! :o  When I was your age, 60 seemed sooooo old, now not so much.  But now  my doctors look 12!!!!  Oh well, it beats the alternative. Good luck with your real age test, I'm not even going to go there! :/

Hey...no harm meant, of course...just trying to make MYSELF feel better remembering that there are others around me MUUUUUCH older!  :0)

Kidding of course!  Off to take the "age" test...Ive done one before, and my REAL age at the time was 35-ish, and my age per the test was over 10yrs old.  BAH!  I'll just call it "maturity", yeah, that's it.  LOL

No, look at your number as a good thing!  We're the same age, and I have an 80% chance of developing a stress related disease, your chance has to be very low. This is good news for you!  Take care....

I scored 321!  According to the Holmes & Rahe* statistical prediction model your score means a significant amount of life change and a significant susceptability (about 80% probability) to stress-related illness. However please keep in mind that there are many variables that interact on health including positive factors such as support from family, friends or work associates. If you are concerned about your stress levels then you should seek the assistance of a qualified counsellor or health practitioner.

Very interesting nursegirl, thanks for the link!  Think I'll just lie down now...LOL

My score was 205...and this is the related "blurb' I was given...

"According to the Holmes & Rahe* statistical prediction model your score means a moderate amount of life change and a moderate susceptability (about 50% probability) to stress-related illness. However please keep in mind that there are many variables that interact on health including positive factors such as support from family, friends or work associates. If you are concerned about your stress levels then you should seek the assistance of a qualified counsellor or health practitioner."

I remember when my p-doc administered this exam to me, he told me, if there was something I wasn't entirely sure about, or if I wasnt positive something applied to me, check it anyway.

The most important line in that blurb above is the last one, of course...

"If you are concerned about your stress levels then you should seek the assistance of a qualified counsellor or health practitioner."

OK, who's next???  Come on...don't be shy!  :0)
