Severe anxiety 24/7

I am new to this forum and looking for some support/guidance.  I'm no stranger to anxiety.  I was first diagnosed in 2006 but it goes back to childhood.  I took Zoloft when I was first diagnosed and did ok with it but had horrible PVC's while on it.  I had all the work ups and was found to be medically healthy.  I was on the Zoft a year before weaning off.  Since then I have had anxiety but have been able to keep it at bay....until 5 months ago.  I have had strange symptoms that my doc says is anxiety, but I'm not convinced.  I'm a nurse with health anxiety, not a good mix.  My symptoms are internal trembling, brain fog, 24/7 lightheaded, nausea, fatigue, neck/shoulder pain.  Also sometimes legs feel really heavy.  All of my friends say they have never been lightheaded with their anxiety so this really freaks me out.  It is my most bothersome symptom.  I also hyperventilate at times.  I have been to neuro and he didn't think I needed an MRI, I have had thyroid panel, cholesterol, kidney and liver panel all of which were normal.  Does anyone else share my symptoms?

I have had my blood pressure checked for orthostatic hypotension.  I also manually monitor my blood pressure daily and it's always normal.  That was the first thing that came to my mind as well.  The only thing off is slightly low hemoglobin but that is nothing different as I have been anemic for several years now.

Could you possibly have low blood pressure?  I take a beta blocker and sometimes when I'm upright I get very light-headed and it goes away when I sit or lie down and it's because my BP is too low.

Thank you for the reply!  I am a 32 year old female.  I have three kids and work full time so I'm not lacking in the stress department.  I hate the internal trembling as well.  I am lightheaded pretty much always when standing but never when sitting or laying down.  I hope I can find something that will work for me.  I tried zoloft again for 3 months and it just about put me over the edge.  It was way too stimulating this time around.  My problem is I'm terrified of meds and it took forever for me to even try the zoloft again.  I was thinking of trying Paxil since my doc has discussed it with me previously.

Also the internal trembling is very unsettling to me. Still having some of that even on my meds.

I have lightheadedness when I'm having severe anxiety and panic attacks. I have been on zoloft since e and of Oct and just added Buspar about 5 weeks ago. I also hyperventilate and have tingling/numbness in my lips, hands, feet and sometimes a band across my stomach. I was diagnosed with depression, anxiety disorder and hypocondrosis. Your symptoms sound very similar to mine.
