Sigh...

So my anxiety's been gone for almost a month .....but just last night it came back to haunt me again...
Just when I started to not feel hopeless, im starting back on square one.......
Though I know better now how to control my mind, still its too powerful to be tamed.
What should I do?? =(
I constantly worry about things ..
Constantly worrying about what if the anxiety comes again (which makes my anxiety worse)..

Yes!!!! I think you can get better without drug.

Don't get me wrong, a lot of people that are taking meds speak very high of them and their success while on them, but me personally...I can't do meds.

I get anxiety just thinking a bout taking them. It is juts my personal experience and opinion, but I truly belief you can do it without them.

Don't give up hope, there are a lot of here going through the same thing, med free.

I'm hear if you need to talk =)

I totally understand.  I didn't want to take them at first, and it's especially hard on teenagers.  I had bad bi-polar problems when I was your age and was really trouble for my parents who I rebelled against without even understanding why.  They tried to get me on medication then, but I didn't understand that I had a problem back then and they couldn't force me.

Medicine is scary because it's altering somthing in our minds.  It's not for everyone and I'm not trying to preach about it to anyone, but for ME it worked and made life a LOT easier once I finally decided to try it.  It may work for you or it may not, everyone's different.  Some people only need someone to talk to, be it friends or therapy, and some people need medicine.  Some people need all three!

I hope you find what works best for you.  All I have to say is don't close any doors, leave options open.  You never know what will work in the end and should keep your mind open because what's most important is that YOU FEEL BETTER and sometimes getting there may take roads we don't necessarily want to travel.

I hate drugs.. I really do..
Based on what i've read so far...there's too many confusion...Like u take some, and stop, and add doz, and lower doz,etc....
I'm still 16 and don't want to be dependent on drugs

Maybe you should see about getting professional help with it, then.  I know that people are split half and half over medication and/or therapy, but personally the medicine has worked for me in the past and hopefully will work for me again now.  Waiting for it to rear its ugly head is just going to make you paranoid during the times when you're not anxious and that won't give your mind any time to relax between episodes.

I know but..
Like when I feel 100% better and think that it won't hit me again, and the fact that it did, makes me twice anxious now .. T_T

you have to get to a point with your anxiety (which I am sure you probably are) where instead of just scaring you, it makes you mad. Get mad. It helps believe me. Instead of being worried and scared now I just yell at it. seems a little strange I know but I swear it works.

Its all about control. Once you take the control back your anxiety has no place to go..but out the door!

Easier said than done tho I know....I still have bad days too.

Its springtime...one of the best things you can do is get outside, go for a walk, watch the birds...anything to get your mind off it. Gardening always helped me also. plant some seeds or go get some flowers and make some nice pots if you dont have a garden.

Good Luck
